GOSPEL BLUEGRASS CONCERT
Friday, the County Line Christian Church on Chatham Road in Axton invites you to a gospel bluegrass concert presented by the Church Sisters at 7pm.   The church is located on highway 57 between Martinsville and Chatham at the Henry / Pittsylvania County Line.   A love offering will be taken for the band.

FRIDAY AT THE CROSSING
Friday, it's a goodbye to summer as Danville Harvest Jubilee presents it's final concert of the season at Carrington Pavilion at the Crossing at the Dan.    Loaded Guns will be playing their rockin' variety for your Friday night party.   Gates open at 6pm.  Cost is $3.  Children 12 & under get in FREE with a paid adult admission.    Concessions and your favorite beverages will be available.   Join the fun at this kickoff campaign for United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County.   More info, call 434-793-INFO (4636).   Online at www.visitdanville.com

MAIN STREET CRUISE-IN
Saturday, the final Main Street Cruise-In will take place from 6 till 9 in Historic Downtown Danville.   Enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of a revitalized downtown area while cruising Memory Lane with friends and neighbors.   There will be food and shopping available at certain downtown merchants, plus a 50/50 Drawing and Door Prizes.    Cruise-In is open to all vehicles.  One non-perishable food item is admission and will be donated to God's Storehouse.   More info, call 434-728-0617.  Online at website:   timemachinescarclub.org

RACING EXCITEMENT
Saturday, GCR presents the Spaulding Equipment Night 150, where the 2010 South Boston Speedway Track Champions will be crowned.   FIVE action-packed races will have the whole family on the edge of their seats!    Gates open at 5pm, with a green flag at 7.   $10 admission for adults, 6 years old and under get in FREE.   More info online at www.southbostonspeedway.com
